Coming by public transport:

You can reach Fiesole from Florence with bus 7 (Stazione F.S. S.M.N-Fiesole). This bus goes from the central railway station, to Piazza Mino da Fiesole. The terminus is across the road from Fiesole cathedral, on the city's main square. From there you can take bus 46, which follows Via di Vincigliata.

Coming by car:

From Via Lungo l'Affrico turn right on to Via Gabriele D'Annunzio till you reach Ponte a Mensola, where you will find Via di Vincigliata on your left. Pass Villa I Tatti, drive for 3,5 miles, until you come out of the wood. The gate of Villa Peyron will be on your left. An alternative route is from Piazza Edison. Take Vai di San Domenico till you reach Piazza Mino da Fiesole. Go towards Olmo. After less than 2 miles turn right on to Via di Vincigliata and drive for another half mile. The gate of Villa Peyron will be on your right.

Villa Bardini is only a stone's throw from Ponte Vecchio, on Costa San Giorgio n° 2. There is also an entrance on in Via dei Bardi n° 1/r.
